Invvest Connect is our proprietary automatic synchronization solution that we created to enhance the customer experience and the stability of connections.
We deploy it when institutions provide a public API that we can connect to in order to retrieve your data. This is the case for Trade Republic, Degiro, Trading 212, XTB, and Louve Invest.
It is the best aggregator because it is the one we control 100% and where we can intervene very quickly in case of an issue. Proof: almost no synchronization problems have been reported since its launch.
When you use Invvest Connect for synchronization:
In the case of a connection via API key (Trading 212 and Louve Invest), we securely and encryptedly save your key in our database to synchronize your accounts automatically and daily.
No one can view or access this key. However, in the very unlikely event that a malicious actor obtains this key, it only provides read-only access to your accounts, and no transactions can be made.
In the case of a connection via traditional credentials (Trade Republic, Degiro, and XTB), we do not store them in our databases for security reasons (this is why their connection is non-persistent).
The synchronization and data retrieval are done immediately between your account and your browser (which then sends us the data). This is exactly the same process as when you log in to your own Degiro account, for example.
This connection and data transmission are protected end-to-end by SSL and HTTPS technologies.
At no point does Invvest have access to your credentials.
