It frequently happens that the automatic synchronization between your institution and Invvest is interrupted and displays a status of “PAUSED.”
This is not a bug but normal behavior that can occur for several reasons:
You have recently changed one of your passwords
The bank requires you to perform an action (for example, accept new terms and conditions)
The authorization to access your accounts has expired. The legal duration of the authorization is 180 days. This requirement, imposed by the European PSD2 directive, is common to all banks and platforms. In the case of synchronization via Invvest Connect, the connection expires every 48 hours.
Go to the “Synchronization” section of your account settings by clicking here.
Your paused synchronizations appear in the “Inactive” section. Click on the account you want to reconnect to view the connection details.
Click on the “Reconnect” button and follow the instructions.
Everything is back to normal.
