The synchronization of your Trade Republic account is done through our own aggregation solution, Invvest Connect.
Four important things to know.
Retrieved Data
Trade Republic offers a wide range of investment products.
For now, Invvest only retrieves your Stocks, ETFs, and Crypto positions.
We do not retrieve your assets such as Bonds and Derivatives.
Synchronization is non-persistent
Due to the two-factor authentication (2FA) required by Trade Republic, the synchronization is "broken" every day. Your synchronization will therefore display a "Paused" status every day.
If you do not make any transactions, you do not need to re-synchronize. If you have made transactions, you simply need to re-authenticate to update your positions.

Verification Code
To synchronize your Trade Republic account, we need your credentials, which are your phone number and your PIN code.
If the phone number and PIN code are correct, Trade Republic must provide you with a 2FA verification code for the next step. This code is provided by the Trade Republic app and must be entered in the designated field on Invvest.
In Case of Error
Verification Code Not Received
If you have not received a notification from Trade Republic, make sure that:
the Trade Republic app is open when you initiate the connection on Invvest
your Trade Republic notifications are enabled (check the notification settings of your Trade Republic app on your phone).
You see an error message
If you see an error message after attempting to log in, the issue might be with Trade Republic.
In this case:
Go to the web portal Trade Republic
Try logging in using your credentials
If this doesn’t work, the issue is with Trade Republic, and we recommend contacting their support to inform them that you cannot log in to their web portal.
